The Academic CoP will continually produce high quality webinars on a range of topics focused on helping academic institutions be more effective and efficient and to help increase student engagement. The CoP wants to initiate, grow, and develop conversations and collaborations between private and public academic institutions around the commonwealth. Those of us in education recognize that some of the best learning experiences are when students learn from each other. Working together, we can help each other further grow in knowledge and execution and help make the commonwealth a leader in Intelligent Automation technology for higher education. .

Interact with peers - from colleges and universities across Virginia to help and encourage each other to educate, counsel, offer insight, and hear practical, real-world strategies to ensure Intelligent Automation success.

Participate in survey research on how software automation is being utilized around the commonwealth and what qualitative benefits have resulted. Contribute ideas to possible areas of research which translates into greater student outcomes and engagement in the commonwealth, so Virginia can further demonstrate leadership in higher education.

Participating universities and staff will be eligible to nominate outstanding student candidates for internships and possible employment in the Intelligent Automation space. CoP members can voluntarily participate in future Intelligent Automation programs to build software solutions for specific academic programs, promoting improved current processes, reduce mundane work, and learn value insights at little to no cost to the academic institution.
